They have long experience and extensive knowledge of measurement technology and close contact with the subsidiaries in Lagan and Vansbro.
Being a measurement technician at Liljas Plast
Jasmin has worked at Liljas Plast as a measurement technician for almost three years and has extensive experience of measurement in other industries. He describes the quality assurance process as extremely important as it is a way of ensuring that they can deliver exactly what the customer wants. Jasmin says it is particularly important at Liljas Plast because most of the parts they produce are very complex and advanced according to customer requirements.
Uses market-leading equipment
Before starting the production of a new part, Jasmin receives a drawing containing all dimensions and a STEP file that he feeds into his measuring machine. The STEP file is a 3D drawing of the part that is accurately and mathematically represented. The measurement is done using Mitutoyo machines, one of the world's leading manufacturers of precision measuring equipment. The quality and measurement department is a major part of Liljas Plast's technology initiative, where technology and production work closely together to achieve the best results!
